There was an article over the weekend about a teenaged boy who was shot in the ribs (glancing blow, he’s OK) by the family cat. Seems Junior was out in the barn potting away at rats with his air rifle. He brought it back into the house and put it on a table, safety off. The cat jumped onto the table and hit the trigger, causing the gun to fire. Some animals you just don’t mess with. ---
