Ok, I made a thread about a week ago called “The Asshole Test” which was a link to a thread on “www.bodybuilding/com/forums” about some users making fun of some pictures of a girl… it turned out most of us are in fact assholes but that’s not important right now… So we are here… **Same site, _different story._** I feel sorrow for his family and friends. Also heard that he had a kid, which I have not yet verified. There are many news articles being spread throughout the net. Some stories [here](http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&tab=wn&ned=us&nolr=1&q=abraham+biggs&btnG=Search) In a nutshell: Abraham Biggs A.K.A. CandyJunkie or Mr Biggs (a well-known “troll”) threatened to commit suicide and posted a suicide note on a forum. He said he’d film it live on a webcam via [Justin.tv](http://Justin.tv). The forum users egged him on at which point he ingested several pills. He laid restless for several hours until some users became worried and reported the incident. Police later found him deceased. In new discussions I’m finding some of these users who took part in the original suicide thread are being contacted by the authorities and will be detained for questioning, or more, possibly. One of the MOD’s was arrested-related to the sale of drugs to Biggs (unverified). The site had been locked down for investigation most of the day but is now up. Welcome to the internet. ---

The moral of the story seems to be that [bodybuilding.com](http://bodybuilding.com) is pretty much a forum of dedicated assholes. As to the death. Meh, don’t care. The guy’s probably happier off dead in the end result. ---

There are TONS of assholes there. Though, on the off-chance he ended up pulling this stunt on another related (age group/discussion) forum it would have ended with the same result. ---

That’s some of the most disturbing and disgusting behavior I think I’ve ever read. I mean, there was page after page of discussion on whether or not he was in hell, which would’ve made a Phelps proud. Then there was all the calling him a coward and saying how they were glad he was dead, but in much more colorful and interesting language than that. Of course nothing tops the thread that went on during it, where you had so many just posting for the “reps,” “epic” -ness or, I guess, the “lulz” in general. Jesus Christ, talk about seeing some of the worst of humanity. Sickening indeed. RIP Abraham. May your loved ones find solace wherever they can. ---

Isn’t this taking attention whoring to a logical (or even illogical) extreme? What did he want people to do, beg him not to? Far worse for me is the case of someone in the UK who was threatening to jump from a building and \*members of the crowed \*egged him on until he did it! Behind the anonymous internet you can understand people doing assholish things they wouldn’t in real life, but when faced with an actual potential suicide in the flesh some people are actually cruel/empathically retarted enough to urge someone to do it? How fucked up is that? ---

Link to the thread? Anyhow, I think that live on webcam suicide by pills is a cheap ass way to treat paying customers. Have the decency of slashing your wrists or hanging yourself if you want a dedicated viewership. ---

If you’re a regular Depressed Joe and you tell a coupla people in your life that you want to kill yourself, you’ll just get a coupla people telling you how it’s not worth it and how awesome you are and they’ll miss you when you’re gone. But, if you do it on a popular message board (I assume it’s popular - the two threads I’ve seen from there are long) you get hundreds of people paying attention to you, telling you how awesome you are and offering to help you feel better. Unfortunately, dude chose the wrong message board. I’d like to think that if something like that happened here, he’d still be around. ---

His suicide note is a pretty sad state of affairs. It’s maddening to hear a 19 year old talk about how he’s fucked up his life. He could have had another 80 or so years of fucking things up if he hadn’t thrown in the towel – that’s the point of it, I’d say. Kind of shitty story if you ask me. ---

Am I missing something? There could have been a lot of egging on in the remaining 60 pages of that thread, but it seemed like he’d already taken the OD on page 1, while people were still telling him he’d be an idiot for doing it. ---

I think page 1 was his initial “threat”… several pages of antagonizing later is when he took the pills. Once police found him the thread was closed and the moderators/users began erasing the evidence of their postings. Unverified, but that’s just something I recall from reading about this story. Surely, a cache of the entire thread is bound to show up sooner or later. ---

How fucked up is that? That was only a few weeks ago as I recall,I remember the police saying that people made their way into the cordoned off area to take pics of the body on their phones. ---

As to the “egging” on part, The Shroud appears to be correct in the fact that he’d pretty much already taken the pills when he posted. And despite a comment or two, nothing takes place at that moment that could’ve affected him because it seems he was either already gone or at least comotose. The aforementioned apparently can be found on the chat logs that accompanied his [justin.tv](http://justin.tv) webcam. If those are cached anyway, I didn’t see a link to them in all the stuff I read. Finally, before it gets commented on here, it was mentioned there that his suicide note wasn’t original. I can’t imagine what fucking difference that makes, but plenty of members there felt that it was some big deal that he copied and pasted it from some other website. ---

It’s such a fucking waste. It’s hard to imagine at that age that every little speedbump and setback isn’t the end of the world, but it isn’t. Goddamn. Suicide is so _final_.
