The Scalar Weapons GQ has got to be one of the coolest out-of-control links ever. I, and others, have allowed it to creep into other posts as well–usually as an aside. Personally I think this is VERY obnoxious, but humorous at the same time as it seems like sharing a private joke (with 15,000 other people). My question is: Should we stop this? And leave the death rays to the original thread and get along with life without death rays all over the place? Or does everyone else think it’s kinda funny, too? ---

I am far beyond thinking that the “1920’s Style Death Ray” thing has to stop. I’m now thinking that all the discussion about the “1920’s Style Death Ray” thing has to stop. ---
