1966 Television: "Batman"

I’ve learned the hard way to never buy anything but Verbatim and never burn them faster than 8x. I just make sure I buy a 100 pack whenever they go on sale at NewEgg ($20 and free shipping). At 20 cents a disk, it isn’t worth the hassle of buying anything else.

I’ve heard that Taiyo Yuden are also excellent, but I’ve heard of some problems with counterfeits.

Because the latter is a Federal statute, it controls legally.
You know, because of the *Supremacy *clause.

A weinie roast?

Not a weinie roast. Here’s a hint: what is being discussed in the thread?

Burned discs?

Now you know why I am noot a crimefighter.

Okay, I’ll give the answer.

Q: What do you get when a group of arson victims gather to talk about their experiences?

A: A Burn Convention!

A pun on “Berne,” of course. Having deduced this, Batman would immediately consult the Bat Library for all he could find on international copyright law.

You fiend!

Holy international law, Batman!

My point was that, if you’re already going to not honor the copyright, you might as well get it for free online. If there’s a bittorrent of it, there’s very likely a streaming version.

Most people’s better entertainment setups are on their TV, not their computer. That may change in the future, even the near future, but at the moment, you can’t compare the ambience of sitting on the couch in front of a large television set with that of sitting in a desk chair looking at computer screen.

Steady on, old chum.

Good advice, but when I buy a DVD of a program, I have no control over and no way of knowing what brand of DVD-R’s they use.

Somebody needs to tell DC Comics that they can bite me. Adam West and Burt Ward were the only actors who got that concept right.

Holy burning underwear Batman!

Amen!
