Actually that had confused me when I first posted it, as I thought the Quiet Riot song was ‘Cum On Feel the Noize’, but when I checked Wiki (“always check first, kids”) I saw it spelled “Come On…”. Ooops, so I forgot :smack: .
Quiet Riot was one of the periennal metal bands featured on the Power Hour, which those of us alive in the 1980s will remember from the all-free TriState area UHF video channel U68 (which in turn became a shopping channel..bleh). Most of the other metal bands mentioned in this thread (Dokken, Judas Priest, UFO, DIO, Rainbow, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, and so on) cycled on that channel, cool background noise when doing College homework. For some reason, viewing some of those videos years later on YouTube, I saw a lot less women w/ big hair and short skirts than I remembered …still the same amount of cheese, though.
One last suggestion - for the closing song of this CD (and you’d end with Comedy Gold, Jerry!), I suggest, from the Spongebob Squarepants movie (yes, Spongebob Squarepants), the song “Goofy Goober Rock”, which is more or less a take-off on Twisted Sister’s “I wanna rock” and hence rather rocking 🙂 .

Officially, it’s credited as a “derivation” and Dee Snider is given a writing credit on the soundtrack album. Unfortunately, the soundtrack album version omits the David Lee Roth sample that appears in the movie.
If I understand the OP’s thrust (and I’m not quite sure, as Whitesnake is the only act in the OP that I would consider a hair band) you gotta have some David Lee Roth era Van Halen and some AC/DC. Almost any song will do.

Cheap Trick - Clock Strikes Ten, Way of the World, Hot Love, Big Eyes
Pat Travers - Out Go The Lights

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train, Flying High Again
Even though they’re usually classified as a new wave band, The Cars could rock pretty hard on their early albums. Stuff like - You’re All I’ve Got Tonight, Candy O, Don’t Cha Stop, Nightspots

Yeah, hair band probably wasn’t quite right. Maybe I should have said “American stadium rock.” I’m not sure if I knew exactly what I was talking about either.

Nice, I like these. Thanks for the continued suggestions all. The Cars I think are maybe a little too lacadaisical but I’ll think about it.
