# 1975 Sears catalog penis

This contribution is strictly anecdotal.  
During my junior/senior year of high school, the Sears Penis was a topic greatly enjoyed by many of my classmates. For several weeks, thousands of student-hours were spent in discussion, tracking down copies of the catalogs, etc. I myself was unimpressed; who cares if some male model has a bit of a dangle going on? BUT at the time, all who saw it (even some faculty members!) agreed that it was real male anatomy, not an obscure wardrobe malfunction.

My mother gave me this catalog sometime before she passed away in '99,said it might be worth something someday. Then I found out why;that couldn`t be a mistake in the picture process…or could it…looks pretty clear to me

I’m ashamed to say that I spent about three entire minutes looking for the penis in both those photographs and I can’t see dick.
