Hurry up folks, you only have 4 days left to get ready! It’s party time!!!
This is the only day in your lifetime when American-format dates will match the rest of the world’s, with 8-digit symmetry.
Bonus points if your party begins at, of course… 8:20\* pm,
(but you poor Yankees will have to do a little math to figure out why. I dunno why, but Americans always get confused about the 24 hour clock.)

Actually, we’d probably do better to consider that 2020 does have 20 months. Because the first 20 - 12 = 8 months of 2021 will be just about as COVIDtastic as the last half of 2020 was/is.
If we consider that 2020 runs to the end of Aug upcoming, we’ll have corralled almost all the bad into 2020 and we can start 2021 in Sep in a clean condition with low disease headcount, few ongoing deaths, low disease risk for all, and Biden in the White House. (I fervently hope on all 4.)
Back to OP @chappachula, this thread is great! I’m glad for your inspiration.
Unfortunately, under my proposal we need to wait 8 months and 4 days before the party _really_ gets rolling!
The pre-party between now and then might be epic though. 😉

The guy told the riddle wrong. It should have been,
“Angry and hungry are two words in the English language that end in ‘gry’. Try to think of another one. What is the third word in the English language?”
“Angry” and “hungry” are beside the point of the riddle. The operative question is “What is the third word in ‘the English language’?” The character in the panel stated the riddle incorrectly.
