Picking up where I left off before:

Week 17: The Giants hopefully fend off the Pats on Saturday night. Not a lot jumping out at me on Sunday except for the Herman Edwards’ return to the Meadowlands. I’m sure the Jets’ fans will have a nice, warm welcome waiting for him.

Ok, on to other things:

Football is a long way off, though

Hey, it’s amazing how fast 177 days can go by. (Ok, nowhere near fast enough)
Yes, the Cardinals may actually do something this year and reach the playoffs!
I’ve made this same prediction each season for the past few years. Since I’m puting my vote in for the Cards to suck this year, perhaps they’ll actually turn things around this time.
I hope there will be a SDMB Fantasy League when the time comes.

An SDMB FF league (or three) springs up every year. Plus, there’s a couple of dopers in [the pool I run](http://www.sirblah.com/1on1pool/index.htm), and one or two spots generally open up each season.

As usual, very nicely broken down, **Ellis**. Hopefully they find some way to prove you dead wrong about the 4th quarter (hey, maybe no injury bug this season!).

Also, Fox Sports has a nice breakdown of the schedule [here](http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6672262?MSNHPHMA).
