I would have been thrilled to see my home state of Indiana go for Obama but it looks like 50-49 for McCain at the moment. ---

There is only one person in the world whose projections I trust, aside from my own; Nate Silver at 538. He just called it for Obama. Nate says it, I believe it. ---

MCain is forked. It is over, the Fat Lady has sungeth. It is an ex-election, as far as Prez goes. And just to show you dudes, I can admit I was wrong: I had said that Hillary could beat McCain by a better number than Obama- now I doubt it. Certainly Hillary would have won, but not by more, and perhaps even by not as much. I am still waiting to see who wins Fla, but it looks good there for Obama. It is even possible Obama could win a couple of Deep South states. ---

Some of these projections are just goofy. CNN projects Obama will win New Mexico but lists the current voting % 62/37 McCain/Obama. How about some consistency? ---

Sorry - I’m late to this party, and I haven’t read all the posts here. But, I think Missouri is still going Obama. It’s leaning McCain now, but only 5% of St. Louis and KC are reporting, and none of Boone County (where Mizzou is). Obama could still pull it off there.
