Crab will look GREAT in the awesome new old-school uniforms the '9ers unveiled today. He’ll sell a boatload of jerseys.

Now go pay a visit to Jerry Rice, kid.

I’m so happy.

Wow! There goes the Eagles’ projected pick! What a shocker!

Wish I could stay around long enough to see who the Eagles will draft now. Interesting choice considering how bad the Denver defense was.

Correct. But IMO the smart thing to do is take a full year of watching to make your choice.

The Redskins come up quick and they AREN’T trading the pick! WOW! Orakpo is a fucking STEAL at this point, they’ll love him. What a value.

New Orleans is on the clock. Seems like they must go DB here and Malcolm Jenkins fits the mould.

> It’s fucking comical that the Bungles took Andre Smith over Monroe. I think he’s absolutely the right pick, his on-field performance is just so good, but it’s hilarious that Cincy takes another guy with personality issues. They never let us down from a comedy standpoint.
>
> Now we have Oakland on the clock. Everyone thinks they’ll take either Crabtree or Maclin. I think the play against type and take Monroe. Though if they are **Chitwood’s** mystery team then the pick will probably be Harvin. HA!

NIck Saban came out on record and said he doesn’t have personality issues. Sure he handled his combine exit poorly, but so what?

He’s the best tackle in the draft, in my mind and we are lucky to get him. He was projected as possibly #1 or #2 overall before the combine and “Boobgate”.

Seriously, look at some tape on this guy. Played in the best conference in football, started all his games, never hurt, won awards for best tackle, is a road grader in the run game, great pass protector…

This “comedy gold” thing with the Bengals needs to die. That was so 2006. The got BPA and at a position of crucial need for Carson Palmer to not get killed (again).

I’m going to laugh my ass off whie I watch Cedric Benson run all over the AFC North next season, because we’re also going to take a center with our 2nd pick.

Next to Heyward Bey and Freeman, he’s the most overrated player in the draft. How they passed on Orakpo for a one year wonder workout warrior like Maybin is beyond me. Maybe they’re planning on chasing away support so they can move to Canada ala the Indians in Major League.

Redskins are thrilled to get Orakpo. Orakpo and Haynesworth. Ouchie! Good thing Jason Campbell still sucks.

I read that mock. If that was really Emmit Smith, he’s as much of an idiot as he came across when he had his ESPN gig. Chris “Bernie” Wells?
I smell parody.

It says right on it “this is what it would look like IF Emmitt made one.” It’s not trying to hide that it’s a parody.

Is Heyward-Bey really overrated if only one team overrates him? If the Raiders hadn’t taken him he would’ve dropped to the end of the first round, if not farther.

I still think Sanchez is crazy overrated too.

That’s just **Hamlet**. He’s never seen a QB worth a first day pick and every player who works out at the combine well is automatically a bust.

It’s all risk/reward. Andre Smith has a much higher bust potential than Monroe. He played very well, but when football was done, he completely checked out. From family members contacting agents, his lack of honesty with his coach, his suspension from the biggest game of his career, to his basically quitting on his draft prep because he knew he was going to get paid already. All of those tell me that he really doesn’t give a shit about bettering himself as a player.

It could all simply be immaturity on his part, and for your sake I hope so. But he’s certainly a high risk. Which is what the Bengals are known for. Which is why it’s funny.

Hmm… Browns are probably going to have a pick of Wells, Maclin, Everette Brown, Rey… Oher is dropping, could he be a dominant RT? Hmm…

Of those, I think Everette Brown is probably the most likely. Maclin might be the best value, but it’d scare me if we were looking to draft a WR since it’d probably mean Edwards was getting traded. But if he isn’t, Edwards/Maclin could be an interesting duo.
