On another note, I was straightening up the mail pile when gulp I found a valentine that I thought I had sent out but apparently it didn’t make it to the mail box. madrabbitwoman, yours is on it’s way this afternoon and I apologize for the delay!

i love getting non-bill related mail. i’m really gonna have to up the craft stakes next year. i’ve kept all the cards i’ve received in previous years and have quite the collection for this year.
the cards have really confused my housemate as this is the first year he experienced the deluge.

I did not have a good day on Tuesday. Morning with the accountant, finishing up 2008, then afternoon with the office Ron. I left late, just to time to wave the bus goodbye. So I stopped at 7-11 to get some cappuccino and half-price V-day chocolate,and walked home.
When I got home there were 10 BIG BEAUTIFUL VALENTINES waiting for me. I had a fun night drinking cappuccio, eating chocolates and opening V-day cards.

One glow-in-the-dark card with lots of goodies included, and one card from somebunny.
I’ve also gotten a haul from so many others:
Anaglyph, The Punkyova, freckafree, Suse, Knitwit, Lionne, amarinth, ShelliBean, phall, plus some others that I managed to leave behind in my mother’s car after opening.
They’re all so wonderful.
Freckafree, my mother is stealing your idea for some project of hers.
Anaglyph, everyone at work is so envious of my tulips. I love them.
The office dog keeps coming into my office and rolling around in the glitter. 
Hey, I stole it from my sister, so we’re just payin’ it forward! (If you didn’t already figure it out, the opening is hidden by the mailing label.)
I never actually got to test the glow in the dark one. I would be really happy to know it works.
Oh and the bunny is quite partial to rolling in the glitter too - sparkly!

I got tulips today (they’re going to work with me tomorrow - thanks Anaglyph!) and a lovely card from amarinth. (Love is in the air…)
i had to make tulips for my cats as they tried to go for my swiss tulips. i have put the swiss ones in a non-cat access area. they will go to work with me as there are no cats there.

Woo hoo! I finally rescued all of my cards from my mom’s car.
Thanks to Pixilated (cows!), Schnuckiputzi (seeds!), Avarie, Gardentraveler, (again) to freckafree since I now know the secret for opening the container, and a huge thanks to freespiritisi for the wonderful customized beadwork and the little remembrances for my nieces and my SIL.

Got another haul of cards … unfortunately, I opened them while at the lab this morning! Let’s just say that there’s a little sparkle in the carpeting there.
