Such a shame… I updated my scores yesterday to better reflect the fact that this is a low scoring tournament. Since then, 11 goals have been scored in three games ☹ ---

What on earth was I thinking predicting Portugal 0-0 North Korea? Naturally everybody else had a Portugal win, and now I’ve slipped back into mid-table. Only consolation is that I don’t think anybody had the correct score. **Howie Reynolds** did have 6-0 but was robbed of the extra point right at the end. ---

After a pretty rough patch in the middle there, a strong run today has me back in first at the end of the first round. Apparently I’m in 1858th right now, but out of how many I can’t seem to discover. ---

I did the same thing with the Germans, I didn’t want them to win or anything (unlike my feelings about Holland), but convinced myself I couldn’t pick them over Argentina. :smack: ---

Being down in the standings, I had no choice but to pick Uruguay for this game. Which will likely end up with me finishing farther down the list. I like the odds better of Uruguay winning than of Netherlands winning AND picking the score correctly (while others don’t). ---
