If someone gets the rub of the green then fair enough, lucky decisions tend to work themselves even over time but to cheat so blatantly is another matter entirely. ---

Hey!, it was cheating but it was not blatant, it was subtly, artistically done, a masterpiece of cheating, a work of art. You had to see 4 or 5 replays before you can say for sure that the ā€œhand of godā€ was indeed a hand. now, the _ **other** _ goal by Maradona in that game, that was subtle, beautiful, artistic, no-cheating involved, futbol. All in all, I would prefer that Maradona had not scored with his hand, but if the alternative was England winning that game by penalty kicks or somethingā€¦ ---

Greece scores again, 2-1. After that goal, when the scorer was doing his airplane routine in the corner a few FIFA officials rushed him. As an ignorant American, I thought they were trying to stop his celebration. Instead, it appears they are Greek and wanted to join in. Is that unusual? ---

I made a bet this morning on Uruguay to win Group A. While France and Mexico still have to play their 2nd game, I thought that +300 (Iā€™d win $300 and lose $100) was a good price. Good bet? ---

They are basically a shoo-in to win on goal differential, so if they get a win or draw plus if France doesnā€™t go win-win, they win the group.
