It’s not just hyperbole, that is the worst I remember England playing. Gerrard, Lampard, Heskey, Terry, Lennon, Johnson, all shit. Rooney played the worst I’ve ever seen, in an England or Man U shirt and I’m normally a huge fan of his. ---

Great result for the US. Now the US can get through with any of the following events: -US beats Algeria. 5 points, and the most England/Slovenia can muster would be 5 and 4, respectively. -US draws with Algeria, and Slovenia either beats England, or draws and US maintains its goals advantage over England. ---
