OK, this is a real performance by England now, but it’s still a bit nervy to watch with the lead of a single goal. great save by the keeper to deny Rooney, but what a pass and move to slip between their centre-backs. ---

How did they miss that? USA hit the post then miss a virtually open goal on the rebound… I know they’ve had some poor decisions against them, but they have only themselves to blame now, what with this and Altidore’s miss in the first half. ---

You’re right. They have only themselves to blame that the score isn’t 2-0 or 3-0. It should be 1-0, period. ---
