What was that you guys were saying about the Americans never diving or faking injuries? They’ve been an embarrassment in this second half. The penalty was legitimate, though. ---

That last dive by Altidore was disgraceful. He should have two cautions for diving just in this second half. ---

Maybe. I always wonder how people can be so certain about dives, though. If his heels were clipped, it wasn’t a dive, nor necessarily a foul. ---

Perhaps I’m just coloured by years of seeing people dive. I really haven’t noticed anything particularly bad by the Americans. They still seem more honest than other teams IMHO. ---

Has the US ever been in a World Cup penalty shoot-out? It’s a bit of a rite of passage. You know you’re a true soccer country when you can lament that time you got knocked out of the World Cup on penalties. Obviously, any Germans reading this post will not know what I am talking about. ---
