Not only was there no offside, but Bradley was mauled on the play with no call.
Tim Donaghy never called a game this badly. These refs have been absolutely criminal.

I’ll tell you what, Altidore had every right to be furious. He was mauled the whole game and his goal was disallowed, all due to utterly incompetent referees. These guys have no business refereeing a rec league game, they were that bad.

The Irish studio team are slamming the ref now. They are insisting that the last goal was good and in fact if it hadn’t of gone in it should have been a peno for the US.
Very sorry about this for the US. They made a great comeback and should have won.
Its an absolute travesty that one of the better comebacks I’ve seen in the WC gets demolished due to sheer incompetence by a fucking referee. Its utter fucking bullshit.
That was more like the US I expected to see. They were poor against England, but much better in this game.
This isn’t a criticism, but I find them to be a very German side. Workmanlike and get the job done rather than showing off any silky skills. That’s exactly what they’ve done in this second half.

I watched the whole game with the sound off, due to being at work. No idea what the Swedes have said.

The referee should put why he blew the whistle in his match report, maybe he saw something we haven’t but for the life of me I have no idea why he disallowed the goal.
The USA still look quite good though, they should beat Algeria and finish on 5 points which may well be enough to see them through.
