2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

[edit]! That was the worst call of the World Cup, no doubt.

Damnit!!!

[edit]!

With calls like that, England needs no enemies… Too bad.

You can hear the crowd chant. “The referee’s a wanker”

Well, I know what the front page picture of the tabloids will be tomorrow.

God we’ll be hearing about that for the next forty years now won’t we…

Well it least it’s another boost for the video-evidence campaign.

I don’t think we’ll hear much more about it at all, provided England go on to win of course.

Germany much the better team for the first 35 minutes, could easily have had 3 or 4, and England all over the place. Good England goal from the short corner, and we have a game now.

Very disappointing on the disallowed goal, was a good yard over. Probably not the ref’s fault, he probably didn’t have a view with the goalie on the ground there, but the linesman had a clear view. Unfortunately if we lose this we’ll never hear the end of it.

Cunty buttfuck.

Until they put at the very least another eye on the goal Blatter should be embarrassed with this and the Irish incident non-stop. Teams and nations shouldn’t have dreams squashed by such things in this day and age.

No matter who this happens to this brings shame to football. Flow of the game my arse, both incidents I’ve mentioned would take seconds to sort out. One view of the replay and you’re done.

The ESPN announcers say England should put the bad call behind them and focus on the second half. But I’m not sure they should put it behind them - sometimes righteous anger is a great way to focus.

As a German fan I’d like to see them repeat the quality of those first 35 minutes. If they can, they should be able to finish this game off.

If England repeat theirs you should win easily. They were all over the place before their goal.

If it stays like this I hope the English fans stay calm tonight. There will be a lot of anger and drink sloshing about.

Yes, one hopes it will not be like the bad old days of hoolies abroad but…it’s almost as if the football gods were laughing. The ball hits the underside of the bar, may or may not go in…of course it had to happen in England v. Germany.

The referee seems to think if he gives us a few soft yellow cards and a goal kick or two we’ll forget about his howler.

I don’t think it’s going to work.

3- 1 to germany

Game over.

Holy shitflaps.

3-1, game over I reckon.

Ah, well.

GOAL!
