31 (31) Colts - Jerry Hughes, DE, TCU Ooooh, I really like this one. I expected Hughes to be more of a sleeper pick in the mid-2nd. ---

The Colts make a nice choice. Since OT was a bigger need than rush OLB and Bulaga was available for the Packers, I’m not pissed they passed on him, but he’s a good pick. ---

32 (32) Saints - Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida State Ah, man, I had that guy highlighted as a guy I wanted in the 2nd for the 49ers. He could bust, though; he could get in over his head and come up with a lot of pass interference penalties. ---

Well. I am pretty stoked. I have thought for months that Suh was the best college player in years. It has been sounding like a near certainty for a while now, but with this Lions ability to screw things up I didn’t count anything till the paperwork was in. I don’t know what to make of Best though. I like the guy, and he has a hell of an upside. But he is a gamble, and I just don’t know if the Lions should be moving up to take a gamble as a rule. I agree San Fran made some good picks. That is building a foundation that will pay off in a few years big time. The Broncos. BWahahahahahahaha. and my other team the Dolphins. Not too impressed, but not horrified. ---

I’m still stunned from the double whammy. We draft a CB in the first round? And my frakkin QB is on the cover of Madden, which means his arm is gonna fall off or something. Craptastic. Hoping we get Cody and an OLB tomorrow. ---

Just got back from a draft party… So I know I’m late as hell… but Tebow? I actually feel bad for Timmy T… Denver couldn’t stop the run last year… so they spend their first two picks on a wideout and a qb who won’t see the field for at least two years? Josh McD suffers from the complex where you have to show everyone just how fucking smart you are. It will be funny to watch the Raydahss eclipse the Broncs in the west… ---
