Color me confused. You’re supposed to be playing White against **peekercpa**. **Autolycus** beat you in round 2. Have you finished your round 3 game, and if so, what was the result? I assume a win, since you’re saying you have 1 win.

A bit of a mismove? Was WWII a “skirmish”? Was the Hindenburgh a “small flame”? Was “Fat Man” a “minor explosion”? It was a catastrophic mistake at a crucial time and you took full advantage of to crush me like a bug. Well played.

Meanwhile **Chessic** and I are having a right old ding-dong. Not that very much is happening tactically, but the tactics that _aren’t_ being played are amazing! 🆒 It’s just that, up to now, neither of us has put one over on the other. But that could change any moment.

Yeah, I don’t think this game will be decided by tactics. I think it’ll come down to solid positional play. I know what I have to do. The question is, do you?

I have you down as losing to **fubbleskag** , then losing to **Auto** , then paired against **peeker**. I’ve checked the whole thread twice and I haven’t found your result posted by either of you.

Probably not as long as I was hoping for. 22. Rd2 was a lemon, and a waste of some in-depth analysis; for a positional game, this has turned out tactical after all. (22. Rc3 and 23. Rd3, and I think I was living to fight another day, though it was mighty hairy.)

My game with Oredigger is heading into the final stretch. It would be over very soon if our schedules didn’t conflict in such a way that we only get in 1 or 2 moves in per day.

Ya, it hasn’t been very many moves but even on weekends we can’t seem to get together. I think we’re heading for a draw at this point as far as scheduling goes. Auto had me beat but I think I’ve found a way out of it.

I don’t think an unfinished game should be assessed by someone other than a player.

I think he meant “evaluate for predictive pairing purposes”, but with 3 games to go, there’s still 27 different possible pairings, I think. So we’ve still gotta wait.

[This](http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=31558787) isn’t finished yet, but it’s not far off. I am “Gil-Gandel”, **Chessic Sense** is “ChessSoldier”, and the game has just reached 30 moves with never a dull moment.
I take my hat off to **Chessic** , who has given me the toughest game I’ve had from anyone but a computer in fifteen years, btw. I share his keen anticipation of some computer analysis when we’re done.
