I think he’ll transition OK, he won’t be a total failure, but he sure as hell won’t return the second overall pick’s value playing SLB. If they try him at DE things could get ugly though. They could have taken Carter or Wilson in the 3rd and gotten similar production. As a 3-4 OLB he’d be a steal. Ditto Dareus in the 3-4 for Buffalo…will they make the same mistake? Wow. These recent Mock Drafts were all spot on tonight. Weird, I wonder what the deal is with all this. Pretty much every team seems to be ignoring scheme and needs and going pure BPA. Someone semi-insiderish is claiming they’re listening to offers but it’s definitely going to be Fairley or Jones if a good offer doesn’t come through. EDIT: WOOT! TRADE Mayock says Atlanta moves to 6 for 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 1st and 4th next year. I wasn’t looking to trade down that far - wanted to get down to 10-12 and take Jones/Fairley or whoever, but this is the sort of move that should require a ton of picks to do it. ---
