Ooops, not the Bears trading up. Hmm. I wonder if the Bears heard about the Saints plans to come up for Ingram and hung up the phone on the Ravens finally feeling safe that they wouldn’t get scooped. ---

Why’d they agree to a contract with Thomas only to draft this guy? Bush has to be gone now but the Saints offense is going to look completely different next year. Bears on the clock. Hoping for Carimi. Hope it’s not Sherrod. Might be Austin but that’d be a reach. ETA: I almost always assume a kid is a dumb ass when he tucks his ears inside his cap. No rocket scientist this one. ---

All I wanted out of this draft was for Carimi to fall to the Bears. I’m a happy Badgers/Bears fan. Think he’s going to be a very solid tackle for a long time. ---

Put Carimi in at a RT and have an open competition between Webb, Omiyale and Williams at LT. Maybe draft a RG who can run block in round 3 or 4. That could work. Forte could have a really nice season. ---
