# 2012 Jazz festival

Is it reasonable to expect to be able to find a downtown hotel for Labor Day weekend, or is it already too late? Also, anyone have a suggestion for a hotel close in? My wife and I really like the Hotel Burnham, but if her brother joins us, this is probably too pricey for him.

They are re-opening the [Hotel Lincoln](http://hotellincolnchicago-px.trvlclick.com/) in Lincoln Park. It isn’t right downtown, but it is supposed to be very charming, right on the park, surely cheaper than the Loop, and only a short bus ride from the festival.

I’ve had friends stay at City Suites. They’ve liked it. It’s steps from the Belmont L station, which makes it very convenient for getting to/from the Loop.
