Pierre Thomas did lower his helmet too on that first drive fumble. That may have negated any call. ---

Fuck me. The first quarter was an unmitigated disaster. 49ers came out ready to play, and they are on fire. Three turnovers in a quarter? Ouch. ---

This is a shocking and amazing start to the game but the Niners need to keep it up. Breeze can bring the Saints back far too easily. ---

Kinda reminds me of that NFC Championship back in '93 or so when the Niners went up 21-0 on the Boys in the first. ---

Anybody else have a DVR that’s acting unusual for this game? My skip back button is jumping me back 10 minutes, rather than 20 seconds, I’m starting to think it’s a plot by the NFL to make me watch commercials. ---
