Czarcasm, believe you me… No matter what we write here… No matter what we say… NOTHING can begin to express the enormous “WTF???” that this whole ceremony is. It fascinates and enthralls, like a massive train accident combined with a full 747 crashing on the burning wreckage. ---

In any case, it would be a double standard, since people on the West Coast are routinely told to suck it up when East Coast people talk about a show that hasn’t aired yet. (And I’m watching it on TV; not on NBC’s site.) . ---

Wonder if the USA will get their knickers in a twist over the gay kiss! FWIW it is a mixed bag but in a good way, the Chinese version had far too much of the jackboot about it. This is gloriously ridiculous. ---

Beijing was too serious and had no emotion although it was visually stunning. This is very British in that it isn’t taking itself too seriously. ---
