Registration for the [2013 Jeopardy! online test](http://www.jeopardy.com/onlinetests/adult/) is now open. Test dates are January 8,9, and 10. I didn’t take it last year because I was still in the pool. I’ll be out unless they call by January 15. :mad: So I’m taking it again. The test locations are very lame for Ohio Valley people (Detroit is closest) but since they had a separate test last summer for Ohio, I’ll let it slide. Don’t wait to register! 2 years ago, they had some issues so sooner is better. ---

I went ahead and registered for the Thursday 11pm test. My girlfriend and I will be coming back from our first vacation together and are stopping to see friends on the way. I’ll either have to cut that short to get home in time or we’ll stay the night and I’ll hijack their laptop for the purpose. This will be my second attempt. ---

Registered. I’m not happy with the city choices for the audition this year…the closest is NYC, which is 2 hours by car and more by train, and I have no desire to drive in Manhattan. Plus I don’t know how much walking I can do with my prosthesis, and NYC is a walking town, especially if you don’t have much disposable income to burn on cabs. ---

I auditioned for the college level one in 2001 and it was way hard. I met a guy named Thor there, so that was cool. ---

I’m in! Thursday at 11:00! Hopefully it won’t include many people’s names; that’s my memory problem these days. I’m equidistant from Detroit and Buffalo . . . but I will NOT drive to Buffalo during “lake effect snow” season. Wish they still had “Senior Jeopardy!”. ---

I was in the pool for 18 months after a San Francisco audition but was never called. After I was dropped from the pool, I took the test again in 2012 for a Sacramento audition but never heard anything. I signed up for the Thursday test this year, but I just got an email saying that I passed the 2012 test. They didn’t make it to Sacramento last year, but they are planning a trip there within the next couple months and I’m already on the list to be invited to those auditions. They’ve asked me not to take the test next week if I’ve signed up unless I’ve moved and want to audition in a different city. Woohoo. ---

My guess is that they’ve got such a backlog because of the issues with the initial test last year. They made a lot of their audition visits before the makeup exam was even held. When I auditioned in Chicago last fall, most of my room took the later exam. I believe they had already hit Chicago earlier in the year.
