Just got home from work and was reminded it was on. I turned it on to find a 1 minute commercial for the Olympics, followed by a commercial for Martha Stewart hawking cough drops, followed by another 30 second commercial for the Olympics. So then Robert Downey presents an award in a category which he didn’t even announce (best actress for SOMETHING?) So now Tina and Amy are back on stage, and they’re talking about…THE OLYMPICS. I’m never watching NBC ever again. Especially not for Sochi. ---

I noticed a big part of the promotion for _Grudge Match_, the awful-looking Stallone-DeNiro movie, was using the enthusiastic tweets of random twitter users as a supposed reason for us all to rush out and see the movie. Random tweets should not be used as a reason for anybody to do anything. I hope that trend is exactly what the Muppet folks were poking fun at. ---
