Still, if we hang on to second place, it’ll be the highest we’ve finished in my lifetime; not a bad season really…
We’ve also got the Euros to look forward to. Well, most of us - the golf courses in Scotland will be busy this summer.

Honestly, this has probably been the best single season of any sport I have ever followed. I am really sad it is coming to an end.
We also have the possibility of a record points total to look forward to. Get tactics Tim to stop crowing about his team.
Careful, those lovable Stanley knife wielding Scousers are a protected species.
I still think Tottenham have a faint chance. If Leicester lose today, which is quite conceivable, and Spurs can beat Chelsea away (that’s the hard part), suddenly Leicester will be sweating a bit, bearing in mind that they also have to go to Chelsea. OTOH a draw for Leicester today would be pretty good because it would mean Spurs have to win all three remaining games.
Meanwhile, the relegation battle is coming to the boil nicely, with Newcastle gaining two or three points on their rivals yesterday. If we assume the average of one point a game from Sunderland and Norwich’s games in hand, then it is very tight. Hopefully it will mean that Newcastle are extra motivated against Spurs in their last game.
Promotion from the Championship is also looking exciting, because Middlesbrough, Burnley, and Brighton are more or less neck-and-neck for the two automatic places, and Boro’s one remaining game is at home – against Brighton.
If Spurs beat Chelsea away tomorrow I’ll be pretty happy no matter what the outcome of the rest of the season. It’s annoying that Leicester have come out of nowhere to become the feel good story of the season, what with their racist striker and financial impropriety, but this Spurs season has been plenty magical.

Leicester City got away with one point. Now they’ll have two important players suspended for the next game.
It would suck if they pulled a Liverpool and blew it because of red cards.
Drinkwater, yes, but Vardy’s back for the next game. Unless there’s some other suspension I have forgotten.
Well yes, but Schmichaels unbeatable at Old Trafford. ![]()
Drinkwater was very harsh, it was a clear dive. Rooney and Fellaini should have been sent off.
Man City deciding not to show up to play Southampton gives Arsenal a bit more confidence that will we clinch a CL spot again, hopefully at least third. We need two points in two games to be sure of at least 4th, if arithmetic serves.
I thought Vardy had one more game. Guess not.
Leicester City wins the Premier League!
Holy crap. It has happened. Leicester City have won the Premier League!
Great comeback by Chelsea to kill Spurs’ hopes.
Wow, Tottenham, way to mess that one up.
Woohoo!
That is fucking awesome. When Spurs went up 2-0, i was sure that it would have to wait until next week. It’s pretty rare that i cheer for Chelsea, but today was an exception.
That was a disgusting performance by Spurs. They should have been down by about three men.
Was it nine or ten bookings? There’s be a bit of video stuff looked at too I think.
Anyway, best EPL for years. Well done Leicester, well done.
They commentator mentioned nine at one point, but lost track.
Anyway, I’m a Coventry fan. Leicester are our main rival (although due to geography all our close clubs have an even closer club that they consider their rival ahead of us). I couldn’t be happier. This transcends rivalries.
As a Posh fan I really shouldn’t be celebrating a Leicester victory but damn… I think I woke up the whole hotel when Hazard scored. Fantastic.
I bet nobody get 5000-1 odds next year!
