Zimbabwe’s still a full member, so no Taylor, Williams, Ervine or Chatara. I had Shenwari and Hassan in from Afghanistan, Joyce from Ireland and Naveed from UAE. I’m going for Scotland’s Cross as my wicketkeeper but he’s no batsman. The rest is the same as your team, bar Javed. Oh and fun fact - no one took Shapoor Zadran’s wicket in the entire tournament. ---

India are going to need 180-190 off the last 20 overs. With IPL experience that is no longer impossible but has anybody come close with 4 wickets down on a standard sized ground? If Dhoni gets them home from here he’ll can walk home across the Indian Ocean. ---

Yes, the rate is getting to the stage to maintain it over 20 overs will be a big ask- with not a lot of batting remaining. Clarke managed to get some cheap overs from Maxwell and Faulkner- looks like Watson is finally on. ---

And there we go, IND 7/231 and the asking rate over 18 runs an over for the last 5 overs. I honestly thought they would put up more of a fight, I rated them as a big chance in this game given they were undefeated up until now. They just seemed to lose heart and hope when Smith was in full flight, as if they themselves felt they didn’t deserve to win. So it’s us vs NZ! I suppose the favourites are that for a reason … ---

This is over. No way India are getting 97 off 5 overs. I wouldn’t fancy facing this Oz bowling attack under lights. I would say NZ need to win the toss and bat first in the final. ---
