Still, it’s hard to argue that following a proven model of success isn’t a good thing to do. All I know is, I won’t be surprised if Chippy trades everyone for Mariota then trades him for Rex Grossman. 😃 ---

Ernie Accorsi was 100% sure that Eli would be a franchise QB, so he traded two 1sts and a 3rd for him. Works for me. ---

Apparently the Chargers have told Philip Rivers he won’t be traded, which makes Mariota to Tennessee more likely. ---

Awaiting San Diego’s choice. I’ve pretty much given up on this team and Rivers, but you never know, they might pull something out of the hat and get someone who can run like Tomlinson did. ---
