Andrew Sachs, Manuel from _Fawlty Towers_, passed away on November 23rd. It’s just being reported today by the [BBC](http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-38178353). Go out this weekend and hit a waiter in his memory. ---

Very sad. He was part of the absolutely superb cast of _Fawlty Towers_ whose lines still keep bouncing around in my head to this day, probably because I’ve seen the episodes so often and can’t stop watching! What a fantastic character, and actor. Fawlty Towers was simply a vehicle for John Cleese, all the rest of the characters were merely props for him. Manuel was a true foil matching Cleese in providing humor. ---
