It had to’ve been pretty embarrassing for the families and loved ones of the lesser-known ones to have the more famous ones get a ton of applause, and THEIR loved one get almost none–the equivalent of everyone asking, “who?” Anyway, as pleased as I am to see a Beatles song (one of their best, at that) during the In Memoriam segment, it seems a little odd that they didn’t pick a James Horner piece, given that he’d died this year. ---

I’ll point out that Mad Max is using new live sounds, new live editing whereas SW:TFA is using stored sounds that have been available for years. Editing live stunts too. So it’s easier (maybe) to vote for something new over something we’ve seen and heard. ---
