The news channels are reporting a great election night for dems, and making some big calls. Fox news has got Tucker Carlson and a crawl both ignoring the news. How blatant can they get? Can you imagine one of the regular TV “news” orgs of the 20th century breaking with custom and reality that way? Who are they pissing on, dems or their audience? ---

Well, I’ll tell ya… I have a little private theory about that. I despise, detest and loathe Fox “News” in a way that defies description, because I have long held them responsible for propagandizing a significant number of our populace into believing things that are simply not based in fact. For years, they were subtle about it. Not so since Trump “won.” They’ve completely jumped the shark and now act as a mouthpiece for Trump propaganda 24/7. They unashamedly tell bald faced lies to their audience and ignore significant truths. Thank fuck, we still have a comparatively free press in this country. The truth will out. I think most Americans will tire of getting spanked by facts and will gradually begin to repudiate the propaganda network. It will take time, but I believe we still have a chance to rescue our country from the well-heeled demagogues. ---
