I’ve been watching CNN. Did John King misbehave in class or something? Blitzer and Tapper get to sit at the head of class while King is sent to stare at the map in the corner. Otherwise, looks like things are playing out mostly as expected. ---

I’m still not breaking out the really good tequila, but I think I’ll get back into the opened good Scotch or mescal. Wow, after being open in the bottle several years, the mescal is downright smooth. ---

At this point looks like an actual wave (at least 30 seat gain) for the Dems in the House, and a loss of 1-3 Senate seats, which is quite an odd mix. Based on a combo of all the models I’m looking at (CNN, MSNBC, NYT, and 538). ---

Can someone explain why everyone is so sure Dems will take the House? I’m not up on the nitty gritty but it seems that we’re neck and neck with 2/3 of the vote in. What am I missing? ---

So, they are equivalent except that they are inclined to be fair? That’s not being equivalent. Fox literally had their hosts on the stage with a Republican president in a political rally less than 24 hours ago. MSNBC has no equivalent of that. Both sides are not equal just because they are on opposite sides.
