I got an invite for the big league last week - I’ll see if we can get another one out. Any changes people might be interested in this year? I know we’ve always batted around the idea of swapping Holds out, but could never land on a suitable category. I think that instituting FAAB (Free Agency Acquisition Budget) might be a good idea. ---

We discussed FAAB in my money league and decided against it, it’s fine for football where you’re not making daily changes. But, this league is different as there’s never much on the waiver wire except for perhaps a closer change ---

Well, you can set it at a $0 minimum bid, so someone who goes through a lot of transactions doesn’t completely erode their budget. But one thing it does is delay adds to your lineup by a day (I think) - so that could be a big deterrent. ---

I am pro faab. It is usually doesn’t matter, but when it does, it can matter a lot. I miss the big-league feel when we were near 20 players. The last few years it has just felt like a normal fantasy league. Given recruitment challenges, I would consider going to an AL or NL format to tighten up the rosters. I have mentioned this before, but I am also pro weekly lineups. Daily lineup changesgets tiring over the summer. Oh holds remain a terrible fantasy stat that I would happily replace with jsut about anything or eliminate all together. ---

I’d be fine with switching to AL or NL only if we don’t get more than 12 for the big league. Kinda neutral on holds. They’re a nice stat though if the league tightens up. Definitely opposed to weekly leagues, I didn’t even know they were still around. Nowadays, you can set a daily lineup from your phone in Mongolia. ---
