Alright, I’m watching the debate for a second time and I have to say, for some reason, watching it the second time around, Biden seems somewhat better. Maybe the heat of the moment, being in real time, made me feel like the stakes were higher and so felt more disappointed in Biden? Watching it for the second time, there’s no denying that he seems a LITTLE better than I initially thought. Also, no, Trump did not call Biden “a number two”, i.e. implying that he was a piece of shit. Here’s what happened. Biden began rattling off a numbered list of points. Here is, verbatim, what was said: BIDEN: “Even before COVID, manufacturing went in the hole. Manufacturing went in the hole. Number one. Number two. Number three. They…they…” TRUMP: “No, you’re on number two.” BIDEN: “No.” TRUMP: “Chris…Chris…” It’s very obvious to me that Trump was attempting to call Biden on the fact that he rattled off “number two, number three” in succession without actually saying what point number two WAS. Biden ennumerated a list but didn’t specify what the numbers indicated. Trump was trying to call attention to this. ---

Trump is psychologically and physically incapable of denouncing his supporters, and _only_ his supporters. He may try, but his brain goes into auto pilot and he adds some bothsiderism. He’s powerless to stop it. ---
