Let me be clear, Trump is clearly an idiot. But he is graded on a curve, and expectations were quite low. He’s behaving, which is all he needs to do on his curve. ---

Many people who still support Trump consider this contrarian view a part of their identity. They are not likely to be persuaded by any debate if they have not been persuaded by Trump’s previous actions. Trump is doing better here than his disastrous first debate, which is not saying much. He is not going to win over the few still undecided. Biden is doing pretty well and scoring more points. Overall, it is still uninformative and not much fun to watch. ---
