No, that has never been a requirement. Most of the time, when someone other than the curator makes a death announcement and includes scoring, it amounts to “_points for me!_”. We like to put the “fun” back into “funeral”. ---

You would have to figure a proper bound. A long career for an NFL WR is probably 15 years – a few have played longer, but a few people have lived 110 years. By that metric, Antonio Brown’s career would be worth about 3 points, 4 at most. If anyone had picked it. ---
