Thread search works rather well in Discourse – going up to the search icon, typing in “Hurt” and selecting in this topic yields four hits, none of which is a list. ---

In the upper right hand corner, you should see a “B” in a purpl-ish box, a hamburger and a thing that kind of looks like a “Q” – that last thing (a magnifying glass) is the search function icon: click on that (or tap, if you are on a touch-based device). ---
