I can assure you that I’ve never had a Dr. Pepper in my hands more than once. One sip and I swore never again. Anyway I wouldn’t say it’s a complete victory. Michigan may be our Big Ten brother but they’re still a hated rival in Spartan country.

> Today I celebrate two things: A Big Ten team has won the championship and we will not see any more moronic Fansville commercials until sometime in August. Hopefully the composition of next years 12 team playoff will be done more equitably than the 4 team playoffs of the last decade.

Don’t be too sure about that Fansville one; doesn’t ESPN show at least one Spring Game?
And speaking of commercials, I wonder why there wasn’t even a teaser for EA Sports College Football.

I have a feeling the only real problem with the 12-team playoff will be if somebody on the CFP Management Committee refuses to give up one of the two “non-Power-4” conference’s automatic spots (they voted for 6 conference champions, before the Pac-12 collapsed, and it takes a unanimous vote to make any changes).

The committee voted to go with 5 conference champions and 7 others.
