People who have Jimmy Carter on their list might get their point before the new year. I read online that he may be in the “active dying” phase and he looks like days might be all that is left. God bless him. [https://preview.redd.it/6wjb353ps53c1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=951d4af63778c08f405ef1f19c2e717f7f15f5ef](https://preview.redd.it/6wjb353ps53c1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=951d4af63778c08f405ef1f19c2e717f7f15f5ef) I spoiled the picture in case anyone does not want to be surprised by how Carter looks. He is very ill and doesn’t look like he did a few months ago. ---

I always thought she would have made a perfect [Aunt May](https://www.google.com/search?q=aunt+may+spider+man&tbm=isch&hl=en-US&chips=q:aunt+may+spider+man,g_1:old:J9Tn-f0SQks%3D,online_chips:marvel+comics:yjXXxFB55_g%3D&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS1064US1064&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjBp8jmvOqCAxXeyMkDHV_zDSsQ4lYoAnoECAEQDA&biw=320&bih=454). My three favorite roles she played, in no particular order, were the aforementioned Ma Clavin, the sheriff’s wife in _Misery_, and her fiery Irene Reppler in _The Mist_. ---

I think the first role I remember her in, although by far not her first role, was as a doctor in the movie Outland. She aided Sean Connery’s character when he was endangered. ---
