Put me in the list reusing group as well! Except for 2 people, Pope Benedict, who died right after I posted my list, and my 3rd alternate, Henry Kissinger. And Shannen Doherty, on my list for the past 2 years, just announced that her cancer has spread to her bones, but looks pretty good in her recent photos: [Shannen Doherty Will ā€˜Embrace Lifeā€™ as Cancer Spreads to Bones (Exclusive) (people.com)](https://people.com/shannen-doherty-embrace-life-cancer-spread-to-bones-cover-exclusive-8407406) ---

Once I was satisified with my list I copied the names into the above post to make my actual SDMB Death Pool list. In doing so I somehow wrote ā€œNancy Pelosiā€ instead of ā€œDianne Feinsteinā€, which is who I had actually written down on my OG list. Sonofabitchā€¦ ---

Tim Dorsey, whose books on Florida have been on my to-read-list for three years now, has reminded me in a drastic manner that I finally should start reading him: > **[Tim Dorsey, Who Turned Floridaā€™s Quirks Into Comic Gold, Dies at 62](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/02/books/tim-dorsey-dead.html)** > > Long before Florida Man became a meme, he mined the Sunshine Stateā€™s weirdness for enough material to fill 26 darkly funny crime novels.
