I tell you what, the frequency that people within ten years of my current age unexpectedly die is not fun. ---

That one hurts, to be sure. Between Homicide and B99, he was an absolute screen gem. ---

This one really hits hard. Don’t think I’ve ever felt this way over a celebrity death, a shock when I saw the headline just now. Not only do I watch B99 clips to perk me up on a nearly daily basis and his Capt Holt character is a large part of that, he was born exactly two weeks before me. And my oldest son’s middle name is Andre. ---

I haven’t watched much of the show, but all clips I’ve seen indicated he was hilarious. As a teacher, we often think of his quote from the show. We try to do review games and fun activities and I feel like saying: [![](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/037/977/cover_image_(3).jpg) ](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/037/977/cover_image_(3).jpg) ---

I have wondered how common the name Ananias was. A guy with the same name is the one who took in Saul of Tarsus after he had been blinded on the road to Damascus. ---
