It won’t be too long before lots of here will be getting snow. I haven’t had any yet, but it is happening now in the Rocky Mountains:

Apparently northwestern Oklahoma got some of this snow, but since I’m on the eastern side it’s just been lots of rain after one of the driest summers on record. It’s only November 9th, and we’ve broken a record for the amount of rain for the entire month of November. Weather extremes have now become the new normal almost everywhere.

Near as I can figure, our area is likely to have warmer than average temps and near average precip. To me, that means probably more rain than snow, but who knows. Last year, I think the most we got was about 2" one time. But 3 years ago, we had to get someone to plow our driveway in January because it was more than we could safely handle unless we took a week to clear it. So, like most weather forecasts, it’s gonna be a crapshoot.

I’m at 11,200 feet in the central Colorado mountains. We got about 20 inches. Business as usual really. I may plow again this weekend.
We did have a very nice October. Not much snow, sunny days. I got a second 500 gallon propane tank installed, so we should make it through our very, very long winters (I hope).
There isn’t gonna be any more ‘deck time’ though. I’ll miss that. But it’s nice to sit inside by the fire.

Northern Colorado. It’s been coming down on and off for about 18hrs. Luckily, the concrete has been warm enough that it isn’t accumulating.
South of Denver, OTOH, at my brother and SIL’s house … this was yesterday afternoon … and I think it’s ramping up down there (click to enlarge):

Montreal has no snow, and nothing forecast for the next week. Nearby Mont Tremblant normally opens US Thanksgiving weekend, but no snow on the top of it now. We had a very dry period from Aug-Oct. Got few very light dustings of snow in the past couple weeks.
Then we got a real snow.
And now towards the end of a serious 3 day snowfest. I’ve shoveled twice. But later today, once it finally stops, it’s going to be The Big Shoveling. Worst of all, temps have been just above freezing so that foot of snow out there is dense and slushy. There was a bit of wind last night which blew the snow around a bit. Extra fun.
Some places to the east of us were forecast to get 3 feet. Again, wet dense stuff. Lots of stuff shut down.
This is enough snow that the town will presumably plow the side streets. So, there’s going to be an ice wall at the bottom of the drive.

SE Michigan here. Parts of Michigan get tons of lake effect snow, but it’s usually not so bad here. In a ‘typical’ winter we maybe get 3 or 4 big snowfalls, meaning around, say, 8” or more at a time.
The last couple winters, though, have been pretty mild and low on snow, and this Fall we’ve had a string of record or near-record high temps. So I’m anticipating another mild winter. Fine with me. We have a large gravel parking area and driveway, and trying to clear it with a shovel attachment on a lawn tractor is not easy or fun.

Yeah, I’m stuck in Amarillo, because there was no way to get Denver this morning. Hopefully US 64 is open tomorrow, because otherwise we’ll have to go the long(er) way.

We were spoiled last year. We barely had any snow all winter long. We’d get dustings or maybe an inch. I think we had a mini blizzard in April, but that melted within a week. I rarely had to wear boots, even when walking the dogs in the woods. The ground was dry and frozen. We had some snow this year on Halloween but that was gone within a day. So far, so good. My husband is hoping and praying we have a repeat of last year. I told him not to get his hopes up.

Western PA here. We have not had a good snow for years. I kind of miss it.
It was 80 degrees Fahrenheit on Halloween this year.

The Big Snow Friday afternoon and night came to about a foot with a 1.5 in some places due to a little wind. Spent a couple hours shoveling Saturday morning.
In another thread a sleigh shovel was recommended and I got one. It worked fine for the first snow. But by the time the Big Snow hit there was just a wall of dense snow surrounding the places to be cleared. It was hard to dump over those but still easier than just using a shovel in most places.

Over two weeks since the Big Snow. Just a few inches of packed stuff left in the back yard in the shade.
OTOH, the people across the street have drive/walkways in the shade plus the piles from shoveling. It’s going to take a while for those to go away.
Got a couple inches today but the pavement cleared itself.

@enipla is probably buried. Colorado got whomped the last few days. We got 4-8" around SW MT and could use more. Plowed twice because I wanted to make sure the 74" snowblower was working right. It is. Bring it on.

About 20 inches here in the central Colorado Rockies. Had to plow yesterday and the day before.
I now need to get on the tractor and do what I call clean up. Push the snow further off the driveway and such. Make room for more snow storage.

Had to shovel my roof today because of the snow yesterday.
There’s a flat part on my roof, and it leaked into the garage when the snow from the storm earlier this month melted. The roof is 24 years old, so I’ve been getting quotes to replace it, and hopefully they can do the flat part before the next snow. I just need to do the rest before any tariffs kick in.
