Congratulations @Thing.Fish ! Sorry I haven’t had time to update the thread this morning. Got home late from eclipse chasing yesterday and was so exhausted I fell asleep before halftime, and I’ve been busy catching up at work this morning.

Congrats!

Thanks to @Shoeless for proselytizing for the group! No thanks to ABC for laying off the sports people at 538 and breaking my scripts! Thanks to ESPN Analytics for making their own group prediction tools! (However, it thought I had a \>50% chance to win the group with just the championship game left – even though that implies they favored Purdue to win when all the ESPN projections I saw showed UConn as a favorite.)

It’s been 30 years since I won a bracket pool – that was as close as I’ve come since then. I’ll be back next year (hopefully)!

Unlike UConn, I did not repeat as champion. Despite picking UConn, I even somehow lost to a bracket that had Arizona as the champion.
