It’s 13 candidates + 3 optional alternatives, not 10 + 3. In your place I would declare the alternatives as candidates with immediate effect. This late in the calendar the alternates should not come into play anyway. ---

And now the last change: Beckenbauer (footballer and Kaiser) is back in, so Elon Musk (egomaniac) must go. Perhaps next year. And as an alternative in case someone drops from my list in the next 2.5 hours (Berlin time) or whatever time counts. I don’t think more than one is needed at this time, if at all. I’ll be hearing from you all next year! All the best to all! Thanks to the Death Mistress, you are great! (And I loved it that you made a clean list to make the job of the Death Mistress easier! A very nice and professional gesture.) It’s taken care of, no problem. You wouldn’t believe how many ways some names get spelled. I’m thinking next year of listing the English spellings of several people. I won’t even try for non English names. I’m just glad Qaddafi is dead. Nine hours. ---

Oops! I just looked back, and I never submitted a clean list, because mine was numbered! an artifact of the Word document where I composed it. I think the Death Mistress already kindly accepted it, probably because I submitted it early, but I want to play by the rules. Thus: Annette Dionne Cecile Dionne Shannen Doherty Lynette Fromme Bob Newhart Liza Minelli Bruce Willis Roman Polanski Selena Gomez Yoko Ono Kate Micucci Linda Ronstadt Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Alternates: Donald Trump Charles III of England Johnny Depp Lynette Fromme is probably best known as “Squeaky,” but I think enough people know her real name is Lynette, so I submitted that. John Williams was on my original list, but I changed him to Linda Ronstadt-- did this a while ago, and our Death Mistress was already notified. ---
