Moore is also a magnet for tornadoes. From Wiki: “Moore is located in Tornado Alley, a colloquial term for the area of the United States where tornadoes are most frequent. **About 20 tornadoes occurred in the immediate vicinity of Moore from 1890 to 2013**. The most significant tornadoes to hit Moore occurred in 1893, 1999, and 2013.” I was in OK for part of 2013; the storm was devastating to the area. ---

I love how that headline ends with “police investigating”. You’d think that is sort of implied by the “found decapitated” part. Are there times this police department finds decapitated heads and go, “Anybody curious about this one? Yeah, I don’t think so. Let’s just chalk it up to coincidence. I mean, It was pretty _windy_ yesterday. These things can happen. No reason to investigate this one, no sir. Maybe it we find the head of a guy with a _catchy nickname_, we’ll want to follow up. But until that time, let’s just put ole’ _missing a head_ here in the no Investigation pile.” ---

Off the top of my head (sorry) I can think of a couple of things. The most logical one might depend on how long he was dead. If he committed suicide by hanging the rope/string whatever cut through after time. The pants down suggests maybe not suicide by intent but the results are the same. ---
