[There is a whole list](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_entertainers_who_died_during_a_performance), which starts out with the French actor/playwright Molière back in the 17th century. One of the more notable performances of death was Karl Wallenda, which I remember seeing footage of on the news (though it was cut off before the actual fall). ---

Hooker and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine…_ These days even when it’s a celebrity that I _have_ heard of, most people remember them for things I have never seen\*\* 🙂 Mostly, I remember Darren for oldies songs on the radio, and appearances on talk/variety shows. Seeing his picture immediately made me think of his main character role in _The Time Tunnel_, and from _The Guns of Navarone_. \*\*I’m sure that I’ve seen _Gidget_, but it’s just fuzzy memory of any old beach movie in my mind. ---
