The ironically-named private investigator [Jay J Armes](https://kfoxtv.com/news/local/world-renowned-pi-real-life-superhero-and-el-paso-icon-j-j-armes-passes-away-texas-tx-evel-knievel-stan-lee-marvel-spiderman-daredevil-norman-reedus-nicolas-cage-jay-j-armes-iii) has died at 92. He was possibly best known for investigating the kidnapping of Marlon Brando’s son, and had an action figure crafted in his likeness, complete with detachable hands to match Armes’ metal hooks. ---
