Theme: Philosophers named ‘Peter’ Peter Achinstein Peter Hacker Peter A French Peter Unger Peter van Inwagen Peter Singer Peter Sloterdijk Peter Simons Peter Railton Peter Carravetta Peter Carruthers Peter Galison Peter Ludlow Peter Adamson Peter D Klein Peter Tudvad Admittedly not exactly a lot of well-known names listed but I think I’m keeping within the spirit of the themed celebrity death pool here. And to be clear, I’m not actually rooting for anyone on my list to pass on… the voices in my head just thought a theme like this would be whimsical, not to mention give these guys something to think about. **Destroyers of Democracy** My seventh try with this list. In 2018, no one died. I scored my first points (in this thread) in 2019 with David Koch’s welcome death, but struck out again in 2020. In 2021 I scored big points (30!) with Limbaugh. Nothing again in 2022, and zilch so far in 2023, dammit. Why are these horrible people so healthy and lucky?
